Sandy is a sweet boxer mix who is still learning to trust people. She is sweet and lovable to everyone she knows, but takes some time warming up to strangers. Sandy had been hit by a car at 10 weeks old and she bears scars and partial loss of use of her left hind leg from that early injury. That traumatic injury and subsequently being in a shelter (on an island in the Caribbean) for over a year left Sandy with trust issues. She is house trained, crate trained and loves to play with other dogs. She is a sweet girl who would love a quiet home with people who will help her to overcome her fears.
