1954 Northland for sale in Wichita, Kansas

$2,001

My wife and I acquired this trailer from a conservator since it had excellent bones and we really wanted a project. We replaced all the paneling from the bed area thru the ceiling and approximately the dining location, insulated the roofing system and reinforced the cross studs with heavy gauge metal braces that run the width of the ceiling, this was so it would withstand the snow load where we had it parked. Everything from the dining location to the sleeping location has actually been secured, caulked where required and newly repainted. Because we were not sure what we really wanted to do with it, we left the dining location in its initial state and finish. The trailer was parked yearround in the mountain location of San Diego thru the rain and snow and it never ever leaked water anywhere. The exterior is quite near original as best as I can tell. It has each one of the dents, scratches, dings and damage that you would expect on a 49 year old trailer. The metal tag riveted to the front of the trailer reveals "NORTHLAND COACH WT 2" The trailer measures approximately 16' from tongue to bumper and has to do with 7'10" tall roofing system to ground.
